Jason is a Senior Analyst with Economist Impact's Health Policy team. He does quantitative and qualitative data analyses with international clients in the healthcare sector.
Before joining Economist Impact, Jason worked in academic settings, spending seven years in Singapore and Hong Kong researching health systems in East and Southeast Asia, focusing on universal health coverage and vaccine hesitancy. His work aims to improve health system effectiveness and combat misinformation to enhance public health outcomes in the region. He earned his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong, where his research centred on the spread of vaccine misinformation in Taiwan through social media data.
