Piotr is a senior manager at Economist Impact in Hong Kong. He leads research projects in financial services, digital technologies and sustainability. He has almost a decade of experience as a financial journalist, researcher, writer and editor, covering financial services, investments, capital markets, fintech, sustainable finance, and corporate governance in Asia Pacific.
 
Previous to this role, Piotr conducted capital markets policy advocacy research at CFA Institute, and was the managing editor of Asia-Pacific Research Exchange. Before moving to Hong Kong in 2013, Piotr lived in Toronto, Canada, where he developed online banking and stock trading solutions for TD Bank. Piotr grew up in Poland. He has an MSc in astronomy from the University of Toronto, a Master of Journalism from the University of Hong Kong and is a CFA charterholder.
